Meet Marianne, Your Certified Financial Planner® pro
The first time I tried my hand at financial planning was for my parents. When I was in my mid 20's through age 40, I had the immense honor and challenge of caring for my aging parents.
This time in my life was both emotionally draining and rewarding. One of the highlights of this time was when I had the opportunity to help them organize and plan financially for their most important needs.
As an only child, I was my parent's only trusted resource. Together we hired an estate planning attorney to ensure all necessary documents were in place, we worked with their CPA to make positive strategy moves regarding their taxes, and we addressed their insurance needs so they were not at financial risk.
The three of us would regularly hold "family board meetings" to review their financial assets. Now I take this same personalized approach to every meeting I have with my clients.
Just like when I worked with my parents, I don’t want my clients to feel alone or overwhelmed. I want to help clients get on track with their goals and build a foundation for financial well-being in the future.

On a Personal Note:
I was born and raised in San Diego, California. This may be what instilled my passion for water sports including boating, skiing, and swimming, and my love of both fresh and saltwater. Because I’m crazy for the water, in 2023, my amazing husband let me uproot our California lives to move to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
I have the two best adult children (yep, proud mom here)!
I’m also a horse lover. In my mind, one of the happiest places on earth is the barn. My first pony was Jelly Bean. We leased her for just $15 per month. I went on to ride and show my future horses in a variety of disciplines including dressage, eventing, and hunter/jumpers. My last horse was a big chestnut quarter horse mare named Pearl.
My all time favorite foods are carne asada or carnitas burritos. Yum!
My husband and I are both dedicated community service volunteers. For many years, I volunteered at REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship Program, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and D'Vine Path, a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing vocational and life skills training to adults with developmental, intellectual, and/or learning disabilities in Fallbrook, CA.
Now that we live in Lake Havasu, my husband and I have joined the Lake Havasu Yacht Club, which supports community and youth-related lake activities. Shortly after joining, we were honored with the title of Shipmates of the Month for enthusiastically taking on various volunteer roles.
